What an inspiring day for our Windsor Park residents as they took a trip down memory lane, visiting Wheaton North High School to share their life stories with eager English Composition students. 📚
Each resident engaged in thoughtful conversations, answering intriguing questions like, "What is your greatest regret?" and "What advice do you have for someone our age?". Their reflections and answers will soon come to life as the students write their narrative essays.
On our return ride, the residents couldn't stop praising the students' politeness and curiosity. They truly enjoyed this intergenerational exchange and look forward to reading the essays to see which moments touched their young audience the most.

Covenant Living at Windsor Park is extremely grateful for the League of Women Voters of the US of Wheaton! Over the past few weeks, they've visited our Auditorium and Patio Dining Room to help residents register to vote and sign up for Vote by Mail, a popular option among older adults. They also provided a fantastic presentation on Engaging in Civil Conversations, sharing valuable tips on expressing opinions while respecting others' viewpoints.
A big thank you to the League of Women Voters for empowering our residents to stay informed and exercise their voting rights. Let's continue to engage in meaningful conversations and support each other in our community!
